sex, lies, and videotape
- Who's watched: G
- Mentions: None
- Commentary: I purchased this one just for me. This is one of my little movie delights, has been for a long time. I expect at some point that I will watch it with Mom. When I first came to live with her I would have been willing to say that she probably wouldn't like this movie because she is sexually modest and wouldn't be able to get past the movie's focus on sex. Now, I think, because of the movie exposure she's had to sex through me, I think she might at least find the movie interesting to watch once, although I doubt it would become one of her favorites.
There is a second, much more recent, review of this movie on RogerEbert.com that almost makes me want to watch this movie again. Almost, but not quite. I don't know. I think you have to be of a certain age, an age I've clearly passed.
Update 7/31/21: Mom never saw this movie. After a few times, I never watched it again, had no desire to, so it went to the library after Mom died.
