The Maltese Falcon - WB 20 Film Collection Thrillers
- Commentary: It is probably sacrilegious of me to admit this, but I shrugged this one off. Maybe, for me, it's too dated. I didn't find it exciting, or funny, or, frankly, much of anything, but I watched it all the way through because I felt obligated to the worship of it.
As well, this edition is the remake of the story. The first was released in 1931. So, you know, it isn't like the story, and the filming of it, wasn't popular. Roger Ebert christened it one of his Great Movies (see the link in the title, above). It just isn't my cup of tea, I guess.
